Remove rust from any metal items by soaking in straight vinegar.

Cleaning copper: Cut a lemon in half, sprinkle with salt and rum over the copper. Wipe clean. Or mix salt, flour and vinegar into a paste, rub on copper and rinse.

Cleaning Chrome: Vinegar or Club Soda on a soft cloth. Rub and shine.

Cleaning Silver: Make a paste of 3 parts baking soda to one part water. Rub the paste onto the silver, rinse and dry with a soft cloth.

Silver Jewelry:  You can easily clean a silver necklace or earings with a white toothpaste.  Just put some on a rag or papertowel and rub over the jewelry.  When done rinse well.
