Coffee Pots
For cleaning sludge in your automatic drip coffee maker, run full-strength vinegar through a normal brewing cycle. Then rinse out the coffee carafe and run 2-3 more brewing cycles using just water. For maintenance cleaning once a month with a solution of 1 cup of vinegar to the rest water in your carafe. Repeat brewing 2-3 more times with clean water.

To clean coffee stains on the bottom of your glass carafe: Cut 1 lemon into quarters, add approx. 1-2 cups of water. Swish it around, let sit for 15 minutes.

Dishes
For burnt food in the bottom of Pots and Pans, boil water in the bottom of your pan just after it’s use, then use a wooden spoon or spatula to scrape the food off the bottom. For tougher burnt-on food, sprinkle with baking soda, and add hot water. Let soak overnight; the food will come off more easily.

Add a couple tablespoons of vinegar to soapy dishwater when cleaning greasy pots and pans.

To rid soap buildup in the dishwasher, run 1 cup of vinegar on an empty cycle. We suggest doing this once a month.

Drains

To reduce risk for clogged drains, pour 1/4 cup baking soda down the drain once a week. Run hot water down the drain for 1-2 minutes.
